Terms and Conditions
Required Documents for Rental
- A valid passport or Thai identification card
- A valid driver's license:
• Thai Driving License or International Driving Permit (IDP) for foreigners
• Thai digital driving license on DLT application is accepted. However, photocopies or digital versions of foreign licenses are not accepted. - A physical credit card for security deposit:
• asap will pre-authorize an amount of 6,000 THB on a credit card for all vehicle groups, except electric vehicles, which require a pre-authorization of 8,000 THB.
• Accepted cards: Visa, MasterCard, JCB , and UnionPay co-branded with Visa or MasterCard.
• The name on the credit card must match the name on the main driver's passport or ID card.
• Not accepted: Debit cards, another person’s credit card, virtual payment methods (e.g., Google Pay, Apple Pay), or cash. - Booking confirmation (printed or digital)
Driver Qualifications
- Age Requirement: Minimum age is 21 years; maximum age is 65 years.
- The driver must hold a full and valid license for at least 1 year.
Important Rental Conditions
- Insurances
1.1 Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is included in the rental fee and reduces the renter's financial responsibility for damages to the vehicle to an excess amount. The renter remains liable for damages of 5,350-16,050 THB
1.2 Super Collision Damage Waiver (SCDW) covers any property damage and/or vehicle damage with zero excess, excluding damage or loss related to wheel rims, tires, and the windshield.
1.3 Full Protection (FP) covers damage of vehicle's bodywork, wheel rims, tires, and windshields, Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) and Theft Protection (TP)
- Vehicles are unable to drive outside the Kingdom of Thailand.
- Minimum rental duration is one day. Extensions must be requested in advance and are subject to availability.
- Baby seats are available upon request and subject to confirmation at the rental desk.
- Late Return: An additional charge of THB 214–535 per hour, depending on the vehicle model, will apply for late returns. If the vehicle is returned more than 4 hours late, an additional charge equivalent to one full day’s rental rate for the applicable vehicle model will be applied.
- All rentals include unlimited mileage.
- One-way rentals are available between ASAP branches in Thailand with applicable fees.
• Returns to a different branch are not allowed during:
– December 1st – January 8th
– April 1st – April 16th - One additional driver is included free of charge.
- asap vehicles are rented with a full tank of petrol and must be returned with a full tank. Failure to do so will result in a refueling service charge.
- No refunds will be issued for early returns under any circumstances.
Modification, Cancellation and No show
- Booking Modification: Bookings cannot be amended or changed, except for ASAP Flexible bookings, which may be modified in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.
- Cancellation / No-Show: The Company reserves the right not to provide any refund if the booking is cancelled less than 48 hours before the scheduled vehicle pick-up date and time, in the event of a no-show, or if the renter fails to meet the rental terms and conditions.
- Advance Cancellation: If the booking is cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled vehicle pick-up date and time, a refund may be requested, subject to a 10% processing fee calculated on the total booking amount.
